Lander International Climbers’ Festival 2023
hello hello
today's blog is a collection of climbing photos from a trip to lander, wyoming
we went for the lander international climbers' festival which was such a blast!
I ended up hopping a ride with my coworkers who were running a booth at the festival, so I'm very grateful they let me tag along :-D The drives to and from were great to get to know and just chat with everyone. :-)
It was also wonderful to catch up with new and old friends!! Got to hang with my homeless SLC friends a ton, and I saw some friends from back east too! So crazy to see folks across the country randomly just because we all like climbing.
The two main places I climbed this weekend were Sinks Canyon State Park and Wild Iris. Apparently Lander is known for being short and bouldery, but I don't think I got on routes that showed that haha. I LOVED solace of bolted faces! Very balance-y, delicate, & flowy. So so good.
